With a population creeping upwards of one million, Calgary is a young, vibrant, and clean city with one of the strongest economies in Canada. The city is home to much of the Canadian Oil and Gas industry and is second in Canada in the number of head offices. Located only 40 minutes from the splendour of The Canadian Rocky Mountains sunny Calgary is famous for its long, warm summer days and all the recreational activities to enjoy them. Take your choice from fly-fishing, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, golf, paleontolic adventures or all the contemporary pleasures a modern city can offer.
